Im torn on this issue. Im not a good pilot, so i dont fly. That simple. But if you paid your 50 bucks, shouldnt you have the right to do whatever you want?

Ahh but as soon as i say that, i think about the essex on wake. Then i say

If you cant fly, dont.

The use of pilot, hmmm... hydra rockets, what else? You can fly wherever you want, in fact, everybody shouldn't hate it! If everybody hates pilot,

People r obsessed with flying the j10. I have seen tanks, apcs, AA, even transport choppers block the runway. They bail at the last second before the plane hits and the plane gets a tk. I even saw 5 people with m95s kill each other to get the plane. 1 person gotin and they died, then the killer gets in and they die. the person who won got killed before taking off by an enemy plane. This game is stupid when it comes to planes.
Ive noticed that on a server, I got commander of USMC (surprisingly seeing as I am a private) and I did a scan, placed a UAV over a base being attacked by USMC soldiers, and noticed that about 10 people on PLA were around the hanger and the helipad, seeing as my teammates were going fine with the base capping, I decided to arty the heli-pad, the players around it didnt move till the first arty shell hit, but they couldnt escape their impending doom , soon a cycle began, swarm heli-pad > arty strike > spawn >swarm heli-pad >arty strike > spawn and so on, I got my basic anti-tank doing this I think

I usually never get a chance to fly because I let the good guys fly (can make a bad team win if you let the master pilots fly) or people will just tk you for the jet so I don't bother.  I can help my team more by battling as infantry rather than waiting for a jet which will make my team -1 in battle and i will suck in anyway making my team even worse.  All about them wins.

While on Wake, i flew over to the chinese airfield.  Ejected. And fell right into the J10 that was being fought over by 10 guys.  I wish you could give someone the bird in-game cause thats what i wanted to do as i flew away with their jet.

it's true -- everybody thinks that THEY will be first, and when they invariably aren't, they would rather sit and wait for 15min rather tan suicide or walk to a jeep and actually, *gasp* help his team!!!

Whats is so great about being a pilot?
Why does half the team feel the need to be one?

I am starting to hate maps with jets for the fact that everyone spawns on the carrier or main air hanger and 3 or 4 people out of 32 actually start an offense. this happend to my team a few times today alone as well to the enemy team a few times. I was commander and scanned about 8 of the enemy on the air field when they already had a jet in the air.  basicly every map that had jets there would only be about a 6th of the infantry attacking flags the others just siting at the hanger waiting for planes. So i ask again what is so special about being in a plane? Is it because most people suck at infantry? are they going for badges? Or do they just like to fly? Working on a KDR? What ever there doing and why it does not help the team win.
I also see this waaay too much. I take a plane if I can get one, otherwise I do something for my team. Since I'm good in a jet and I love to fly I'm actually helpful to my team, unlike other horrible pilots.

I really don't get it either. I never whored jets when I sucked. I left them for the good people on the team to use and only used them myself when no one on my team was using it. And even then I would ask if there were good jet pilots on the team before getting in myself. Lotta people say that if you don't whore vehicles like those you won't get good. Well that's bs because because I took my time getting good and now I'm usually the best pilot in game.

My advice, if you want to learn to get good, only use the main assets when there's nobody better than you using them. Otherwise get your ass off the runway and into the fighting.
