Well EA did people like me a favor, who dont have much time to play be able to get one of those big medals, but remember how they changed the rankings in that one patch.....they changed every rank, but sergent major which is 50.000 points, for peole with not much time dont you think thats a bit of a open gape from 20 thousand to 50 thousand, just something new to try out.

the gap from sergent major to the next rank is only 15 or 10 thousand and the next rank after that is also a very small gap.

i would like to see the genral ranks go past 200k, as well as the medal requirements

Oh no you don't! I only just hit 50,000 the other day, I earned the rank of Sergeant Major through months of hard work dammit, I'll not have you cheapen it by dropping the requirement so you can get an extra unlock.

Nah, just kidding. The gap rank of 30K is there for one simple reason - to seperate the men from the boys so to speak, anyone can hit 20K and 1st Sgt but it takes some actual dedication, some true application to go beyond that and to get that final unlock. Seriously I think that's the reason for it, the reason the ranks flatten out again after that is simply so that commander priority can be assigned by something approximating skill rather than by ping or who has the fastest mouse button finger on the apply button or any other random means.

I'm First Sergeant myself but don't care that much.

What they should have done is to require awards, wins, minimum time on each map and other things for each rank so that it's more related to skill.
