If I saw a girl passed out somewhere I'd totally rape her, because it's much easier than slipping her a roofie first.
I don't need to justify anything, its his choice. I have no problem breaking laws that have no real victim affected. Most dont, but like I said the debate is pointless its his choice.GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

Either another company or a customer, who will get the money back and perhaps a bit more for his inconveniance...GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

Which again, is owned by people. How is it ok to steal from a company but not a person?jord wrote:

Because stealing from a person has direct consequences to that person. It affects their lives.GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

If were using extreme examples i'll use one. If you had the skills to commit cheque fraud why would you not go ahead and steal £10million from a faceless bank? Is it because of some misguided duty to uphold the gospel law? Is it because you don't want to hurt the bank for moral reasons?
Or is it because there would be a severe risk of getting caught and punished?
Your morale is seriously fucked up. Where do you think those 10 millions would come from? Thats right, the people. Stealing from a lot of people is still stealing.jord wrote:

Anyway no. If you have £1000 in the bank and a bank robber steals £5 million your balance remains at £1000.
Banks have insurance. So with that theory debunked, what is your answer to the above question?
And where the fuck do you think insurance company gets the money from? Thats right, again its the people.jord wrote:

They get money from charging a recurring fee to their customers. Come on man...GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

Again, for the third time. If you had the ability to steal a large amount of money from a faceless entity why would you not?
Because I am not a jackass and criminal like you.jord wrote:

Brilliant retort tool. If you can't answer a simple hypothetical and have at least somewhat of an open mind then don't debate. Stick to festering in this section giving tech advice. It might be a subject you have a incling on knowledge about.GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

They were the ones who fucked up, it's not really his responsibility to correct the mistakes of a shipping company. If the shipping company is that incompetent then they deserve to have to pay out for new video cards.
Just sit on it for awhile and if nothing comes up after 4 weeks or so sell them. If the company was dumb enough to give it to you in the first place they may have fucked up filing their shipping reports.
In any case, congrats dude.

If you're going to steal sell those Quadro cards, then buy me a Quadro 5000M for my laptop and a pair of Quadro 6000 for my desktop.
If you can justify selling something that's not yours and keeping the money, I'm sure you can see the complete logic of using those funds to buy something for a complete stranger too.

First of all, the said company is owned by someone, ditto an insurance company if it were to pay for it. You are therefore stealing money from a company which is owned by people, thus stealing money from people, no? The money doesn't just magically disappear from the world without anyone noticing. The CEO, the board, the staff and the owners have worked hard to earn that money, therefore you're an ass/cunt/criminal if you steal it from them.jord wrote:

Furthermore I don't I think I could live with owning massive sums of money that I haven't earned or acquired truthfully.
Morals, I guess.
Been 2 weeks now and no one has asked for them back.
I think i should point out i dont know who the shipping company is for who there for :S
