i was playin on a knife/pistol only server last night and got like 350 points in 2 or 3 rounds it was so great
i think EA trying to shut these kinds of servers down is just fucking retarded.Sure i got alot of points really quick and all, but it was the first time in a while i actually enjoyed playin bf.
show ur support for independent server rules!!

Suck on EA's nuts, because it's their fucking game and you agreed to the EULA when you installed it. Allowing Knife/Pistol servers would make comparisons between people's stats into apples-to-oranges. Getting 200 points on a normal 64 man ranked server is much harder than on some 16-player Knife/Pistol server running 64 player maps. In order to keep the stats legitimate, EA has to ban the knife/pistol servers.

If you don't like it, go play something else. If it's just about having fun then find an unranked one.
