CLash of the Titans. 6/10. was ok, but not what it was hyped up to be.

Robin Hood men in Tights - 10/10, best movie ever.

Reaper: Season 2 - 6/10

After sticking in the last disc and only seeing one episode on it, and after having sat through one of the most monstrous unresolved cliffhangers in TV history, I was tempted to mark it down to 3/10. Still, the show wasn't too irritating for being little more than a supernatural soap. Chalk me down for season 3 if they ever come to their senses. If it weren't for the cliffhanger, it'd be closer to a 9.

I mean seriously, the Devil takes a soul, an army of angels buzzes town with some vague promises to the main characters, and they end the show in a goofy hug?! WTF? No closure in that, nor for some other characters who were simply forgotten about.

Now that I've had time to digest the slow-burning and slightly cliche show, I think I can bump it up a point (my last rating of it was an 8, if I correctly recall). It fits perfectly into its genre, the characters have great chemistry, and the devil keeps pulling you from episode to episode with creepily-amiable charm.

Starting on Reaper: Season 2. Wire's up next (week), if I can get it on Hulu.

Firstly, Hoffman is the best thing about this film, it has got to be up there with one of the best performances ever.
I enjoyed the film, just watching Kaufman's ideas being put on the screen is awe inspiring, some of the messages in the film are pretty heavy. I spent the entire credits trying to understand the house that was on fire, and then it hit me like a ton of bricks, it's brilliant. I thought he got a little bit too enthusiastic with just putting his ideas out there, it could have been pieced together better. Definitely his most incomprehensible film to date, and definitely worth a second watch (pretty soon too).

tl:dr It's completely bizarre, a lot of people wouldn't get/like this film, but give it a try.

Gone Baby Gone

Decent flick, Affleck did a good job on his directing debut, but I didn't think it was nearly as good as some of the critics seem to think it is. The plot is essentially very interesting but the screenplay and dialogue is average at times. It keeps you watching for 2 hours that's for sure, and as long as you keep up with the twists (that happen pretty quickly) this one isn't too tough on the brain.
