I think Ive finaly cracked the puzzle that is BF2142!

+ Usable Toilets on the Battlefield

This has made everyone go insane, but I think that due to the lack of communication on Dice's part and the translator, Toilet has been mixed up with Radio, or another anticipated feature

Vehicles
+ Mechs are armed with an anti-aircraft gun, TOW anti-tank rocket launchers, and anti-infrantry mini-guns on each arm

Now everyone believes that this is all on ONE single Mech, in the interest of balancing, I believe that there will be a system implemented to allow players to change BETWEEN said weapons, in other words, kits for mechs, or there will just be different spawns

Reading that, the game actually sounds quite good.

Except, what about the levels? Are they all going to be city based infantry maps with ice everywhere? Sounds kinda shitty.

i think it should be canceled just took a look at ids softwares quake wars and im going to buy that game instead of bf2142

why bother fireing with an assault rifle when you can throw snowballs at your enemy lol 1 hit kill lol :p

it looks nice but i think the gameplay would smell and that the maps would smell i whant intense closed qauter city levels why dont they make a forest level or something like that???

the diffrence betwean quake wars and battlefield is there are way more effects in it and it looks great

I think Bf2142 has some serious competition with QuakeWars. Quake looks a lot better, (imo) and will possibly provide more support to the community. (knowing EA & friends.)
I must say though, EA is doing a good job on the pacthes, but charching for boosterpacks makes up to that and sets them back to zero.

I think many people will remember this when they have to choose between QuakeWars and BF2142. If I was EA, I would consider this.

that'll kind of ruin Mechs if you ask me

unless they have 3 mechs per map:
1 with an AA gun
1 with a TOW gun
1 with Miniguns

but i still think that would be lame
