Well I just need to say, Battlefield 1942 in my heart!

I'm still in two minds, and I am in no way sure if it will be better or simply another Vietnam.
The jury's out on this one. There is no way to tell until it is out. It sounds good, but EA and DICE have been known to 'forget' to include promised features.

Its to early to tell. Im just a tiny bit annoyed how they are gonna release it still when BF2, SF, EU, AF are still young. EA are really draining dice. In my opinion.

They are not expansions, they are farms, money farms, and I dislike EA for doing it, they should be free, hell mabey even 5 bucks in the first two months, and then everyone else gets it free, thats what they do with modern combat on Xbox

I will name a child after EA if 2142 Is multi-console over the internet

If i wanted to play mech assault i would buy the god damn game.   2142 = shit they are just trying to get all the star wars geeks into there games

I'm a huge battlefield fan...been playing since 1942 came out..the reason i like this game so much is for the historical factor of alot of it..also game play, i'm not into Halo or any of that crap, its just not realistic,,,,they should have stuck with real weapons/vehicles,,,,no,, screw all that NEW RANKED MAPS for bf2...i would have been more happy with that instead of the retarded euroforces/specialforces must pay to play addon, i mean we all paid 50$ plus internet fees, and paid for high end computers they just WANT MORE MONEY!!!! I plan on this beeing the last BF game i purchase in a long time. They constantly nerf it for the NOOBS, and i remember back when we waited over a year waiting on this game it came out then we had BUGS, and needed patches and patches after patches, just doesnt amuse me anymore i'm sticking with this game and dont plan on buying the new one when it comes out in 3 years, lol.

if people continue to buy the tat that they call expansion packs then ea will continue to produce them. its simple if you want ea to actually make a good expansion then you stop paying for the ones they bring out unitl they realise that they actually have to bother making a good one for people to buy them

Currently, i am Pro bf2142...I think i always will be! I think it's about damn time that there's a future mofps that happens in fat maps, with tanks chuggaluggin, and air units...uh..swoosha-swooshin.

i never knew that a gun with a scope that shot bullets in 3-rd burst is "futuristic" or a 12g shotgun is "futuristic". I doubt you can call the covenant weapons "futuristic" since it's not entirely 100% futuristic, but more or less alien. alien weapon are not futuristic, they're just alien-y.

gaylo's maps are small, and itty bitty. you can't compare bf2/2142 to halo 1 or 2. they aren't even in the same league. you should be ashamed of yourself for comparing a horrible fan-boy game to battlefield.

LASERS are the freak'n future, and humans w/ lasers = future.
air units that can hover that're man-made = future.
