My complain is not about BF2 but PB. I have noticed lots of posts said that say "F**K" or "WFT" gets you kicked. Well, I was playing BF1942 yesterday and guess what, I got kicked by PB for saying "You guys know a lot of WW2 history"....... no idea if I said anything wrong or what. Anyway, do you really think for saying "F**K" or "Sh!t" should get you kicked when you are playing a game where you are shooting/killing/knifing people? I know the word "F**K" when I was 8 years old and I was 8 years old 20 years ago. Is there anyone is this forum don't know foul language ? I believe every single player who plays BF2 are pretty fimiliar with all those foul languages, don't you think? So, what the point to kick people using those words. As a metter of fact, I hardly talk/type while I play cuz of PB's / admin's STUPIDITY of foul language. The games says TEENS not VIRGIN TEENS or KIDS under 8 years. If PB kicks for using foul language....it should also kick for shooting...cuz it's not healthy lol. Foul Language...yea give me a break....one of the lame excuse I can think of.......kick someone for saying "Blow enemy assets"........PB = usless anti-cheating crap and very good at detecting "foul" language.

What do you think about this topic? I think it should be removed, so people can freely spam with words like they are holding in their mouth for a while.....set them freeeeee

Yeah, but the blame goes more for the admins who activate it. PB doesn't kick for foul language unless it's specifically assigned.

Here's one for you: The Christian Gamers Online server, as you might be able to guess, is frequented by people who profess to be devoutly religious. Kicks for things like "OMG" (for using God's name in vain), "you suck" (personal attacks, even general ones like this, are a no-no), and "We're getting spawn raped" (gasp?! how dare you use "rape" figuratively, it's offensive to people who really have been raped...etc etc).

Fine. They pay for the server, they can kick for whatever language they want. Hell, they probably hacked the server so that "Damn it, sorry" is replaced by "Oh fiddlesticks, sorry". But here's the question. Why would a bunch of people who take offense at "using god's name in vain" in an acronym like "OMG" have no problem running around, shooting each other, knifing others in the back, blowing shit up, and just murdering in general?

Language filters are just plain useless--and many old (and hilarious) threads on this forum have addressed this issue. I can pull a few up, if you'd like.

MOtion was warned for offensive language by PB. What did he say? The "bad word" in "i passed that class" got picked up by the language filter. See? Language filters can kiss my class.

Um.. No.. Cuz the game is rated 16+ so whats the point in kicking players that say the F word or anything else, its the parents choice to let their children play 16+ games, and with that except that we use different ways to express our feelings (oooh,, that sound good )
