There was a federal court ruling not too long ago that said law enforcement does NOT violate anyone's rights by placing tracking beacons on cars, even if they are parked in a private driveway, without a warrant.

It's within the law in those states covered by that Federal court.  It shouldn't be within the law though...warrants exist for a reason.

11B--I don't know if they had a warrant in this case, but it doesn't matter since they didn't need one to begin with.

It lacks incentive?  The people who have been tracking you for who knows how long (and know as much about you as they did), are involved in law enforcement, and CAN make your life very, very difficult use that line and it lacks incentive?  lolok
