tbh I'd rather get all fat on Thursday and then have a long weekend to recover, rather than get all fat on a Monday and have to go to work tomorrow... unless Canadian Thanksgiving doesn't involve eating a shitton of turkey and other food? (wouldn't be surprised, considering that Americans will use any excuse to get fat )

american one is about slaughtering injuns after they gave pilgrams food
canadian one is about some dude whos been trying to create a passage to the northwest.
It's aboot time.

Don't listen to Cybargs, the thing about the Indians is untrue. We got along with them for a good few years until the Indians got a new Chief who hated the pilgrims
Different dates that is all. USA is later as we're smart not to have Halloween and Thanksgiving on same month otherwise November sucksCheez wrote:

The irony of guns, is that they can save lives.

hahhaha Warman
But Americans did kills tons of Indians..Native Americans ..
Two studies have been conducted that attempt to number the natives killed by the United States. The first of these was sponsored by the United States government, and while official does not stand up to scrutiny and is therefore discounted (generally); this estimate shows between 1 million to 4 million killed.
The second study was not sponsored by the US Government but was done from independent researchers. This study estimated populations and population reductions using later census data. Two figures are given, both low and high, at: between 10 million and 114 million Indians as a direct result of US actions.
Thus, according to Ward Churchill, a professor of ethnic studies at the University of Colorado, the reduction of the North American Indian population from an estimated 12 million in 1500 to barely 237,000 in 1900 represents a "vast genocide . . . , the most sustained on record."
By the end of the 19th century, writes David E. Stannard, a historian at the University of Hawaii, native Americans had undergone the "worst human holocaust the world had ever witnessed, roaring across two continents non-stop for four centuries and consuming the lives of countless tens of millions of people.
A total of maybe more than 150 million Indians (of both Americas) were destroyed in the period of 1500 to 1900, as an average two thirds by smallpox and other epidemics, that leaves some 50 million killed directly by violence, bad treatment and slavery.
But yea they werent killed they were exterminated...
