Some of those fuckers are tough, I've hit them with hunting pellets 4 times and they keep going. Air Rifles wont do shit, need a .22

there's so many that they'll outbreed the culling and it would cause a huge disruption to the now-accustomed eco-systems.

sadly they've wiped out the native red squirrel almost entirely and are here to stay, vermin as they are.

Squirrel. The bag limit in my neck is 10 (a day?) I think... If you know what a squirrel nest looks like they're super easy to hunt. Just 12 gauge .00 to the nest. KABOOM! Leaves, branches and fleeing squirrels. If they're non city squirrels (the kind I'd eat) and not used to people they will often hide on one side of the tree and run around/up it so you can't see em. If you're patient, you can just sit for a while and they'll come back. Squirrel calls work too, but they also are fun for fucking with my dog. Fuckers got mad ticks/fleas on em' though.
