Too busy big ballin to wrap up a few coins? Some of you act like you got no down time. Big fuckin whoop. How long you think it's really gonna take you? Drink a few beers, listen to some music and wrap up a few coins.... or get your woman to do it.

I wrap my coin myself, decided like 5 years ago to keep all the 1 cent untill i had 100$ in rolls, i am currently at around 80$ doing it...the bank is soooo going to hate mewest-phoenix-az wrote:

Yeah, not even 10 minutes since they use machines for coins. So not only could you have your coins counted into bills by a machine, you could have done it for free at the bank.PrivateVendetta wrote:
So he would have earned $16 for waiting at a bank for 10mins while they counted his cash
Lots of people have better things to do in their down time than sweating over a jar full of greasy pennies.west-phoenix-az wrote:

They have a machine which sorts the coins into denominations, then they just weigh them. Takes all of 2 minutes. And is free (here at least).PrivateVendetta wrote:

You paid $16.20 because you aren't organised enough to spend your change?

Yeah I do that as well. It makes my nights seem waaaay more expensive than they actually are.Pubic wrote:
After a good night in town I can end up with $30-40 of shrapnel. Hand over a tenner, chuck change in pocket, repeat.
That reasoning always makes me chuckle. My time is worth what my employer pays me...for only 40 hours per week. If I don't have another job to go to, then I'm not producing income. So if I use off time to roll coins/return bottles/mundanemoneyredeemingactivity, then it's worth it as long as it covers any expenses (fuel).unnamednewbie13 wrote:
Time I spend rolling coins could be spent making far more money actually doing work. I'll stick to the giant jars and sorters.west-phoenix-az wrote:

Roll your own.
Profit.

Did this and started tossing the change in a giant glass beer jug. Last time I counted it I was around 365ish... I wonder how much money I spent on playing quarter pool...ghettoperson wrote:
