how the heck did you high ranked guys get past first sergeant??? i just got to gunnery and now....wow.....20,000 pts... =\

i only play weekends and get about 500 pts per weekend (i know i suck) and it seems like ill never get 11,000...

im beginning to think ill never get there lol

howd you guys live through this

P.s.-dont remind me that sgt major takes 30,000 more!!!! >.<

I got First Sergeant some time aga, but I don't think I'll ever see Sergeant Major, It's pretty shitty when you get promoted 8 times for 20k points, but then need to score 30k more for the next one.

Actually you need 40,000+ points to get Sgt. Major.

Personally, i thought it was easy, especially since I got promoted around the time EA nerfed the requirements and people got promoted twice for just logging in that day. Just wait until you get into the officer bracket (if you do). I've forgotten what promotions are...

for a while that was the reason i was playing...to get promoted....but now it seems like it will be sometime in the next decade before i get promoted again...sux i think they should have made it less points...but i understand why they didnt

WTF? you think getting promotions as an officer is harder? First sergeant to Sergeant major is 30,000 points, Sergeant Major to 2nd Lt. is only 10,000. Wtf do you mean by officer is harder? After 2nd Lt. you only need 15,000, which is half of what you need for Sergeant Major, you idiot. It's all 15,000 after that. Then 20,000 for Lt. Col. to Col.

I;m getting close to 50 g's........I can tell you that as a ground pounder who plays alot of Karkand (yea I know but that map gets really addictive and on a 64 player map too) it's been a tough grind.THe server that I play on has some of the best players on it so it's a real challenge.
It's taken me 11 months so far to reach this point.
Still love this game too.........purely addictive....wink
