Ok, i have about 12000 points or so and still dont have my purple heart, is this good or bad??? personally i think its good cuz purple heart just means you did really bad that round
Meh, it's ok. I've got a purple heart, It doesn't mean much. If people give me crap, I just say I knew it was coming (which I did know, I knew most of the awards before I got to 1k points ) and I didn't duck out of the round.

LOL... I thought that it was a freebie that noobs got to encourage them once they actually killed a guy after only dying 4 times.
So does this mean if you never do worse than 1:4 than you don't score it? I thought everyone started out as bad as me. Oh well. Yer probably right dude!

yeahi was a total DC and BF1942 player, played it non-stop, so i soon as i got the game i wasnt doin that bad
I had Bf1942 too, and I think I did better at it for some reason. I still can't figure out how everyone here is managing better than 3.0 spm or more from the get-go! What am I doin' wrong? :p
Well I have almost 41k and no purple heart
I got mine to complete the collection.....infact several times to complete the collection!!!!
While it's probably good not to have one, it's not like you're a shit player just because you have one. Mine was the result of my squad continually getting Arty'd and my buddy was being a huge n00b with his grenades. He TK'd me like 5 or 6 times. That combined to make the round a bad one for me.
Sometimes this award is called "a noob sign", but there is nothing wrong with you if you have it. In fact, many people got this award being idle or afk. I do not think that I will be upset if I will get it someday.

I don't see anything wrong with it. It shows ur not afraid to take a punch when most people would leave a game like a coward if there getting pwned.
Got mine in Sharqi getting pwned by the Mi-28 gunner. Yea it was harsh. On the bright side i was awarded the medal on a kill not a death.

I've come real close, but have always managed to eek out a couple more kills right before my deaths hit 20. As you can see, I've got a nice (16) death streak...

Gulf of Oman , all points were controlled by MEC and one motherfucker stole our BH , placed it on aircraft carrier's runway and start killing us . Got about 150+ points . I crated my account a few days before and didn't know requirments for Purple Hurt , so i got it...
I am the proud owner of 2 (yes count them two) Purple Hearts, the first I recieved on my first ever online game, this was when most people had had the game for around a month (bah excuses I know) Second was quite recently while I was afk for quite a long period of time on Wake.
It's not such a bad award really, everyone should have one just because it's PURPLE

Thats y u never go afk while in game. LoL I did that just getting something to drink, i came back to find someone spawn killing me over and over. Luckly i was just gone not even a min and he only killed me a couple times. some people are assholes like that.Towelly wrote:

most of my gmaes end up with me having at least 1 more kill than a death. i have over 70k worth of points and aint got it yet
