How is it enslavement if it's voluntary?  No one forces you to come here.

It's not about killing off anyone.  It's about keeping procreation affordable and practical.  Generally speaking, more advanced cultures move away from having as many kids.  That's a good thing.  It shows that we are capable of moving beyond instincts and emotions.

Turq, unless you support breaking labor laws, those Mexicans would get paid at least minimum wage. Which is what a lot of the poor earn.

He's advocating socialization, he's simply making the rational decision to not treat everyone as equal. He's being meritocratic. The ideal government is one run by a ruthlessly pragmatic but still ultimately benevolent dictator.

Granted, finding a benevolent dictator is the hard part.  Ashoka may have been one of the only ones that ever existed.

That said, there IS a decent chance he can at least attain a decent middle class life. And his kids after that may be able to achieve even greater things, although frankly the middle class is marginalized in this country. Too rich to receive benefits and too poor to completely support themselves.

eleven bravo already does a fine job of demeaning me.  Seriously, take a number.  (By the way, he's a lot better at it too, but only because of his absurd persistence.  You tend to mix it up a little better in terms of descriptions though.)

I don't see it as my personal duty to spread the wealth to the Third World anymore than my own consumption already does.  Sorry if that offends you, but it's not like they'd be any different if our roles were reversed.  People are selfish.  That's all there is to it.

He's been pretty consistently and steadily moving Northwest on the political compass. He may bounce around a bit, but he's been fairly consistent. He's uber authoritarian and uber conformist. The Ultimate Socialist.

Well, that's the authoritarian portion of it. The socialist half is deciding to collectively live together in harmony, the other is deciding who to live with. It's social darwinism with a push from those who style themselves as elite.
