Alright guys I've got this monitor http://www.samsung.com/sg/consumer/pc-p … cification and kind of want to plug my 360 into it. It has a dvi input and a vga input, if I were to plug my pc in the dvi and the 360 in the vga would I be able to switch between the two inputs without any addition hardware?
If a monitor has two inputs then it also must have a button to switch between the two inputs. I don't know much about xbox but looking at the back panel of the unit you would need something like this:

There should be a button on the front to change inputs (it's called source on my Samsung)
When I had an 360 I bought that cable for about $15. Well worth it. Still have that cable somewhere collecting dust now that I don't own a 360 anymore.

I don't think it was the official one, but a third party made cable. Hey it worked that's all I wanted it to do!
