Hey guys, Tech section has always been pretty helpful for me in the past, wondering if you guys can help me out once again.

Looking at getting 32" LCD TV, but trying to keep under a budget of $400 USD.  Right now Im kinda waiting on what deals black friday will bring, in addition to the next paycheck to actually afford it.  Been looking at a few TVs, but I get really mixed reviews on everything.

Preferably, Id like to get a 32" TV.  Understandably at this price point, looking more towards budget TVs in that size range.  Not asking for a magical tv for the price, but something good for TV, Movies, and my Xbox essentially.  Just looking for some opinions on brands and TVs in this price range, and preferably size range.

Any suggestions?

We bought a Vizio 37" last summer for around $600. Doing a quick Google search shows that they're about $450 now. It's been going great so far - no dead pixels and the image quality seems great to me.

I bought a 32" Samsung a couple years ago, the best they had to offer for 2k at the time and got 2 red pixels. Not saying all their TVs have it but still a defect like that on their flagship TV is not promising for new models as well.

Been looking at the Vizios actually.  Reviews for them seem pretty good, and for the price, pretty decent quality.

Understandable, however I do have a Samsung monitor and truly love the picture quality.  If I could get a32" model of this monitor with a TV tuner in it, Id be pleased.

I have 3 Samsung monitors and they are all fine, the TV however isn't. I would do a pixel check if the store offers it.

If you have a SAM's club card, they are currently offering a 42" 1080p TV for 498.

I do, however sadly a 42" would be massive in my somewhat small room, and I dont have $500   I will look into that though , thanks for the heads up.

Definitely will look into that one.  720p is fine for me, I just want a HD tv because of my 360 clipping text or making it so tiny its unreadable on my regular tv(yes, its set to display properly).  I honestly dont see a big difference between CRT tvs and 720/1080.  So a 720 TV is just as good as 1080 for me.

Ok.  I looked at Sam's club more closely and they have a 32" Samsung 720p for 378

Edit: And the one mentioned above.  You can't go wrong with Vizio.  I have three Vizio TV's.
