What life? Intelligent life, as in human beings? In that case, you may be wrong. Most of the oldest human/hominid fossils are found in South Africa (ref. the "Cradle of Humankind"), even if the currently oldest findings are in Ethiopia. This would mean that intelligent life originates from either side of the equator, most likely the southern side. Unless you are referring to the world being created 6000 years ago in a paradise by God in an undisclosed location with a talking snake, in which case you are wrong again. You can't say for sure where the paradise was, was it on Earth at all, did it exist, which it most likely didn't and furthermore, snakes don't talk, man! They do eat babies though. Christian babies. If what you're saying is that life itself was created in the northern hemisphere, as in amoebas, bacteria 'n shit, then there's really no evidence either way. My best guess would be on both sides of the equator in places where the conditions were most suitable for creation of life, I.e. ribonucleic acid string formation (or something, I'm not scientist). Life in itself can also be the result of a meteorite containing life hitting earth, if you want to go sci-fi on this motherfucker. In that case you should have evidence over on which side of the equator that particular rock fell.
