i'm having a problem running this game on my pc here is my pc specs

Manufacturer: ECS
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+ (2 CPUs), ~3.0GHz
Memory: 3582MB RAM
Hard Drive: 1 TB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM v1.1) (i do have the lastest driver)
Monitor: HP w2207h
Sound Card: Speakers (C-Media USB Headphone Set )
Speakers/Headphones: Logitech
Keyboard: USB Root Hub
Mouse: Logitech MX518
Mouse Surface: Table
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit (6.1, Build 7600) (7600.win7_rtm.090713-1255)

does anyone have any ideas as to why my CPU is running at 100% and it locks up when i try to run it

its the first time trying it, i installed from steam direct download

Could be some unaddressed memory leak issue. Also, be sure your CPU isn't overheating and throttling down.

e: If the game doesn't have a safe mode, make your own by turning every detail down to bare minimum.

thats the first thing did mate still, it stops responding on load up

ok chaps thanks for your input problem solved new video driver, still dont explain the CPU maxing out thou
