So I normally only play sniper if I'm commander......because I use the claymores to protect strategic flagpoints (like the TV stations on Warlord and Sharqi). I know that as an individual, you can only drop two claymores at a times, and if you drop more the others will disappear. I also know that if you drop claymores, and then get killed.........the ones you placed while alive will eventually disappear (not immediately though, which is nice, because I've gotten a lot of kills this way).
I have recently noticed, however, if there are a lot of snipers on my team........all placing claymores in roughly the same area..........mine will disappear without being tripped or without me dying. So, has there been a global limit on the amount of claymores that a team can place?
It's really starting to piss me off. It really burns me when on Warlord or Sharqi I am commander, I am a sniper.......I'm holding the TV station, and I can usually do it by myself (maybe ONE other person is helpful sometimes).........and on a 32 player server.......there are a total of SEVEN SNIPERS........all crowded into the TV station........tossing down claymores and then waiting. DO THE MATH IDIOTS.......that's roughly half the team sitting on their ass in one place. Say goodbye to winning! And to boot, all these tard monkeys are making my claymores disappear somehow. I honestly wish I could meet these people and shake the shit out of them like a disobedient newborn and say "ARE YOU REALLY GOING TO FUCKING SIT ON YOUR ASS ALL GAME WAITING FOR A CLAYMORE KILL?" It's a little different for me.........I'M COMMANDING........I'm supposed to sit on my ass.......so I may as well sit on my ass somewhere where I can do some good by protecting a flag. For the rest of you......GO DO SOMETHING. For the love of God, if you insist on being a sniper then AT LEAST SNIPE SOMEONE!
Sorry this kinda broke into two rants....albeit somewhat related. But back to the topic.......is there a global limit on claymores? If not.......what the hell is making my claymores disappear without dying, without being tripped, and without being disarmed by engis (I plant them so they are impossible to disarm)???
KiL
PS- If this has been discussed.....SORRY.......but I used the damn search, and found a hundred and one topics that had seemigly nothing to do with what I'm asking about. I'm not about to sift through all of them to see if it "might" have been mentioned by someone, once.
