cowboys have a bitter pill to swallow....what a heartbreaker. Now for the bengals to disappointment me some more
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Marty Schottenheimer is the WORST offensive coordinator in the league.
Let Sanchez THROW THE BALL.
Let Sanchez THROW THE BALL.
THAT is how you run a fucking wildcat.
fook! is beyounce still shaking her ass on tv?
I don't know how the Jets get these lucky breaks all the time...but I'll take it!
Hoooooolmes!
Hoooooolmes!
They are playing the bengals lulz....bengals will be lucky to get a couple more wins but with their present performance, they may go winless for the rest of the season.
They destroyed the Patriots earlier in the season as well as the Dolphins (when they were actually playing well).
Yet when it comes to inferior teams like the Bengals and Browns, they have trouble.
Dunno though, I'm not very confident for the playoffs right now.

special teams ran the ball for a touch down ~
Brad Smith lost his fucking shoe and STILL ran a kickoff back for a touchdown. Holy shit. Love this guy.

Although I think those comments were made facetiously. I'm pretty sure he and Revis are friends.
Not to mention it's completely false. He kept Andre Johnson below 40 yards and kept Calvin Johnson to 1 reception for 13 yards. Two of the best receivers in the game. Denying his skill (coughblademastercough) or just looking at his "stats" is retarded.
well they need to use something to measure his skill/talent if not stats than what? granted he had a very good year last year, and he had some issues this year with that hamstring injury... the nfl currently only measures tackles, sacks and turnovers, they dont measure ones performance based on someone's ability to shut someone down... so if someone is looking to get into NFL hall of fame(or get paid) they need to have good stats something that can be measured, or some form of comparison, allowing one to rank the players...... I can say yeah Revis is the best shut down CB but its useless since 10 other teams may say the same thing about their CB's, so in order to determine who is the best, some form of measurement is needed...
plus I never said stats are everything
stats are not everything.

TO, the big shit talker, was held to below 20 yards today. And he's been playing out of his mind this season. No, he doesn't have any interceptions this season... but every single receiver he's covered has been shut down. Absolutely.
Unlike you, I'm hoping the people who vote for Hall of Famers have watched Darrelle Revis play. Anyone who has knows he's one of (if not) the best cornerbacks in the league. Wow, he doesn't have 10 Interceptions in a season. And what does that mean...? Nothing. The "measurement" you talk about should be watching him fucking play. How fucking retarded. Let's not vote Bobby Orr into the HOF because he didn't have as many points as Wayne Gretzky .
You say stats are not everything, but you claim some sort of "measurement" is required to show he's the best. You prove your own post to have no logic. Through passes defended, pure intimidation not allowing the QB to throw to that receiver and covering receivers like a wet blanket, Revis has proven himself.
i dunno. his stats are good but he has played a long time so that helps with that...see brett favre. he was just voted most overrated player by his peers. i watch him play and i dont think wow this guy is up there with rice. you are welcome to your opinion but i think you are waaaaaay off.Poseidon wrote:

you dont win/lose by proxy. nor can you judge that. one thing matters in the nfl. wins and to a certain degree losses when in the same division. this aint college football. team a lost to team b but beat team c means fuck all.
You do realize that even at his age, he has some of the best stats in the league? He's third most in receiving yards and tied for third with a bunch of people with 8 TDs. He's going to be 37 in a week and he has better stats than most people 10 years his minor. Not to mention he makes some incredibly clutch catches.11 Bravo wrote:

He's not the best receiver in the league (I'd probably go with Roddy White, Brandon Lloyd or Greg Jennings right now) at this current moment, but all time? Absolute HOFer. 8 10+ TD seasons. That's absolutely insane.
Tell that to HaiBai.11 Bravo wrote:

lol i understand that. in the end the win is all that matters. but statistics and strength of schedule help with predictions and actually measuring the strength of different teams. you can't say that the bears are worse then the jets simply because they lost more games, just like you can't say the bears are on par with the packers, steelers, ravens, etc.Poseidon wrote:

Green Bay vs. Atlanta should be good. Rooting for GB 1) To piss ig off and 2) Aaron Rodgers is my starting fantasy QB.
This. Also because they're at the top of the NFC South.Poseidon wrote:

fucking awesome
although not, cuz I have Johnson on my fantasy team and he'll probably get suspended
