Uh yea.. she and her friends have been doing this for the last six years. Toys r us was exceptionally shitty. They weren't organized at all this year. The other stores weren't nearly as bad.

We'll.. no other place she went to made her wait an hour and a half to get her money. She said some places were actually a quite pleasant shopping experience.

I am imagine each individual store potentially a different experience. All it takes is a few employees not showing up for work to completely screw things up.

I'm doing most of my BF shopping via Amazon. This year, Amazon has practically price-matched every BF technology related deal.

Wife went out to get things for the house at the less crowded locations.

Got an XBox Slim 250GB Kinect Bundle for $300.

Yeah, that's only with the internal 4GB Flash storage Slim. Could have also gotten that for $200'ish. I got the one with the 250GB. That makes 4 operational 360's in the house.

Just played with some PS3 move games. Not really impressed. Wii with better graphics. Meh. Let's see how the Kinect works out. Dance Central shipped.

That and the price is inflated. I wouldn't be surprised to see it go down to $100 during the summer after E3.

I refuse to buy it until some games which truly take advantage of it's technology come out, and that combine both controller and Kinect in an enjoyable way.
