So i finally get a mic and feel its time to enable voip, ive not had the game long, and wanted to make sure i got the best out of it, or so I thought.

The first game i play with voip was as a commander so i could talk to all the squads, and i got nothing but abuse from a few players coming out of the speakers. for example i arty an area and tell the squad approaching the area to move out, he ignores me, then when it hits him, i get absolutely disgusting language blaring out my speakers cus he got hit. Then another game im in a squad, and i invited a few players to join. all seems well, but then i die, and im called more dirty language.

Its completely disrespectul and sucks the enjoyment all out of the good time you were having, i thought this was a game, and it was supposed to be about fun. but i just get angry voices and disgusting language out of alot of players, and it makes the game no fun whatsoever when ur being disrespected like that. I feel very disheartened with this feature, as there are too many bad apples ruining the feature for my enjoyment. I thought games were meant for us to have a laugh and enjoy urself, not hear people who have worked themselves up into a frenzy and shout abuse at you, cus how fun is that.

My first experience with voip and last, im not going to use it again so i can hear more people getting angry over a game and screaming at me, its ruined for me now thanks to a few sad little people.

You just have to play on the right servers. Don't give up on VoIP yet, I've had some wonderful squad experiences with pure strangers over VoIP.

ignore the kids who play dont let them ruin it for you

best way is to get ventrillo or teamspeak and just you and your m8s can speak to each other and you dont even have to be in the same squad

this works best when your m8 is a commander also

we have rules on our server about using VoIP, as we had some whole clan come in and start being racist and pissing alot of people off over VoIP. Just if they start to be a dick to you switch to the other team and own them.

Personnaly ive never had a bad experience with it, but thats probaby because i am the server admin god

I never use mine anymore because of that unless i'm in a good squad that is using it the correct way and ask me to use it then i start it back up next round and get to buisness, You will always have asshats that talk crap because it makes them feel tough. Game on and dont give up on voip.

I have never had any abuse on VOIP. I wouldnt play on a server that dosen't have it because the teamwork isnt as good. Don't give up on it because of a few bad experences. when will you ever get the chance to scream, "Give me some drugs medic.....stat" in real life.

I dont know how you guys do the VOIP, I cant stand playing with them let alone hearing the nubfest on voice.

Stick to friends or clan members and use vent or teamspeak. The rest can blow it out their ass.

I think i've turned it off altogethor (you can do it in options or something) i have no mic, nothing. The CommoRose/Commanders orders are usually enough. Text works well most of the time. Enabling English only helps. Plus it's not like in the USA where everyone speaks English, we got German/French/Italian/Spanish/Dutch you name it (unless i stick to UK only servers, but why limit the servers just for VOIP?)

The "Watchout!, Shit too late..." and "Fuck, fuck, fuck.. Oops.." After a TK... and other random messages that are completely useless.....

Kind of strange that you got abuse from both squad leaders when you were commanding and squad members when you were squad leader. I have never gotten anything but positive feedback when using VOIP (except once when a squad leader told me to leave him alone) and using VOIP makes the teamwork aspect 50 times better than silence or text-only games. Don't give up on VOIP! It makes all the difference!

Im gonna put $$$ on you being the type of commander that doesnt know what an engie kit is, doesnt know how to spot, and arties a flag that 30 friendlies are trying to cap and says "didnt you see it coming?"

If you dont want to get yelled at, get off the internet. Some kid yelling at you in a game makes you cry, just give up now. Someone talks shit to you, tell them to go fuck themselves or you will open up your zipper and shut them up yourself.

There is also a handy feature that allows you to mute anyone on your team. But that would have been too difficult right? Easier to log off and make a thread about it. Its the net, get OVER IT ffs.
