Baltimore, Denver, GB, Detroit, Cincy - all bad games. He's looked really good in a few games, not so great in others. Don't attribute arguments to me that I haven't posited. You really are terrible at this debate thing.

Okay, now how many games have the Jets played? 12. You give me 5 - two of which are highly arguable.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:

Baltimore - Schotty would not let Sanchez do what he does best.
Denver - Not his strongest game but not the worst either.
GB - Pretty bad.
Detroit - A pretty good game for him and the fact that they came back proves that. He turned it on in the 4th.
Cincy - Not good, not bad.
Yeah, I'm bad at debating.
I think it's hilarious. When the Jets were on fire, nobody said anything. When Sanchez pretty much singlehandedly covered the defense's failure and came back with 46 seconds left in the Texans game, nobody said anything. They have a terrible game - hey, let's jump back on the "hate the Jets" bandwagon! It's fucking ridic-allus.

Only debating your assertion that Sanchez is an elite QB. You offered that up, I'm not agreeing.Poseidon wrote:

Not that hard to understand tbh, but whatever.
i wish Sanchez played for . . . the Kansas City Chiefs.
I wish the Chiefs would lose a fucking game or two. Or their final 4 would be nice too.
why are we arguing with someone who has watched football for what????? 8 years lol
i know just the man to do the job. except, he's in new york . . .
Meh, talking about football (sports in general really) for me is fun. I really really like sports, especially football this year. Whatever, I think he's making himself look stupid but that's only my opinion.
Alright, I'll eat crow. Is he ELITE? No, not really in the same level as Rodgers, Ryan, Brady, etc just yet.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:

Is he a good QB? For what the Jets offense is designed for and with the really great games he's had this year, I'd definitely say so.
Try 10... and I still know more than you.11 Bravo wrote:

Yeah but Utah doesn't have a football team so your opinions on football, and in fact, life in general, are completely invalid.burnzz wrote:

i was born in TiJuana Heights, watched them build Six Flags and was there when the A's won the series behind Vida Blue - so thirty years in Cali mean nothing? i met Ken Stabler and Lester Hayes, and Ray Guy was my neighbor.
you*re right, Utah doesn't have a football team, but i wouldn't trade my life to be a fan of any team in the east . . .

[i did see the Raiders beat the broncos when they used to play in the rose bowl - 33/30 in ot, vs that buck-toothed fuck elway]
I was at a Raiders / Broncos game at the coliseum where I saw a Broncos fan get beat up with PVC piping. Also, dude in front of me had track marks and there was a chick behind me who would take her top off every time the Raiders scored. I've seen the Raiders play in 3 stadiums (and counting)
I even managed to make it to a Chargers vs. Baltimore game last year. It sucks having to go to Oakland to watch my team play.

Burnzz, if that was at teh coliseum circa 1990 I very well may have been at that game too.
i've managed to go to one game a year, and when asked about the San Diego game, i said "let's see them somewhere warm" and had no idea they would light up the fucking chargers . .mtb0minime wrote:

Interesting. Now we would have seen 20 commercials before the end of that game. Game was different back in the 80's. Slower mostly. Going to have to look up if nowadays the team keeps the ball going into a second overtime.
i thought they flipped for it, again . . .CC-Marley wrote:

I guess it still the same.Sudden Death
The sudden death system of determining the winner shall prevail when score is tied at the end of the regulation playing time of all NFL games. The team scoring first during overtime play shall be the winner and the game automatically ends upon any score (by safety, field goal, or touchdown) or when a score is awarded by Referee for a palpably unfair act.
At the end of regulation time the Referee will immediately toss coin at center of field in accordance with rules pertaining to the usual pregame toss. The captain of the visiting team will call the toss prior to the coin being flipped.
Following a three-minute intermission after the end of the regulation game, play will be continued in 15-minute periods or until there is a score*. There is a two-minute intermission between subsequent periods. The teams change goals at the start of each period. Each team has three time outs per half and all general timing provisions apply as during a regular game. Disqualified players are not allowed to return.
*Exception: In preseason and regular season games there shall be a maximum of 15 minutes of sudden death with two time outs instead of three. General provisions that apply for the fourth quarter will prevail. Try not attempted if touchdown scored. If there is no score in the 15 minutes, the game shall end in a tie.
the funniest thing about the jets is that they've only beat one team above .500. the patriots, which apparently was a fluke because of how they got their asses handed to them monday.
also, I just want opinions: cutler > sanchez yes or no?
remember its his third offensive system in 3 years behind an oline thats terrible.

At this point. Cutler is better. That's not saying much though.
