If you're really quick, you can defuse tv missles before they assplode on you.
Sober enough to know what I'm doing, drunk enough to really enjoy doing it

Sorry, you aparently didn't get the memo. See, we're puting the new coversheets on the TPS reports now, so if you could come in on SATURDAY, that'd be great
Lawl! When Im an Engi. Mines are not a problem! I think its more productive then running into it and getting a medic to revive you, I think to encourage it, points should be given
as a squadleader - send a member. after he took out the claymore, revive him. claymore defused, +2 revive score.
I did this all the time on great wall.....good fun.xaven wrote:

I got sick of removing mines because everytime I would get out of my tank to defuse it, the vehicle behind me comes roaring over and blows us to pieces. I wouldn't have even been trying to defuse it if there weren't vehicles behind me, as an engineer, you get a warning when you approach mines so I would've just driven around it. The worst teammates are the ones that steal your tank when you get out to wrench a mine or the tank.
I don't worry about claymores when I'm in a tank or APC because it's easier to just drive next to it and set if off on your vehicle.
Speaking of claymores, on Wake last night I was medic and I see one of our guys crouched next to a building and not moving but he wasn't the commander, so I ran to him and tossed some med packs and detonated the claymore he was staring at that an enemy sniper had placed right in front of him. Oh boy, that pissed him off. He had just killed the sniper and was waiting for the claymore to vanish.
So I remove mines if there are no enemies around but I don't mess with C4 because it's more likely to be detonated if the Spec Ops sees someone run to it. It's easier and safer to go after the Spec Ops holding the trigger. When I'm Spec Ops, I love it when their commander drops a supply crate next to their arty. I blow up the two guns farthest from the crate, refill at the crate, toss 2 C4s on the last gun and another on the crate, refill again, run away and detonate. If I feel particularly nasty, I'll toss an additional C4 on the guns and go lay in wait for an engineer (usually the commander) to come running. And that's why I don't remove C4, for fear of guys like me.
And why can't we get points for repairing our own tank? I would have twice the repair points I have now if it just gave me points for fixing my tank after a head to head tank battle.
