Interesting video of PMAG durability testing by being slowly run over by a truck, speedily run over by a truck, and grinding the truck tires on it:



The metal GI mag got beat by the PMAG every time and the PMAG still worked.

Here's another where the guy runs over it with rounds in the mag and then fires them off immediately after:



And one of it being ran over by a Humvee and getting the Iraqi sand test:



I just got really interested when I saw that someone had one a few pages back.

Yeah its tough... as long as you leave the dust cover on when storing loaded, otherwise the feedlips can get permanently distorted.

Oh is it just wipe off type stuff? I thought it was some really thick, ugly varnish or something.

it doesn't really just wipe off, you need either lots of heat or a solvent to get it to move

also it seeps pretty deep into the wood so it took me a few hours with a heat gun to get most of it out

I've seen people just give up and replace the entire stock instead

Great pistol. I've had one for awhile now. I've shot it a lot and carry it daily. It's never let me down.

they do those here sometimes.... they give away cameras and gift cards if you bring them guns or ammo


buy a few cheap boxes

drop one at various police stations

take giftcard/cameras

sell them

buy a new gun!
