funniest thing all day just happened to me. one of my best friends (goes out with one of my female housemates) just stumbled in, letting himself inw ith the spare key. he is clearly drunk as hell, which is extreme to start with because he's a big bulky lad and takes a lot to get to 'that' stage of batshit-insane, incomprehensible drunk-dom. he asks me if i want to go to the marks & spencer, which is literally 50 metres around the corner. i agree, it's only midnight and i have an urge for some m&s profiteroles, anyway. whilst there, he goes straight to the freeze meat part, drunkenly pockets a huge fucking steak, and then goes and pays at the counter, anyway, for some chocolate or something small. the WHOLE time, because it's a 24-hr garage/food place, there's 2 highway police at the counter, waiting for a midnight-shift coffee to be made. they eye my mate because they can tell he's drunk, swayin' all over the place. the steak was clearly on view in his pocket. he then walked out of the garage and walked straight home (he lives 3 doors down the street from me/our own house), obviously having forgotten that he even asked me to go there with him in the first place.
i was literally laughing out loud to myself the whole way home. fucking HILARIOUS. can't wait to tell him in the morn!
