Okay so long story short I found a link for these printable coupons for Marlboros. No idea if they're legit, guy who showed me them said they are.

So if I bring them into a store and they don't work, I'm not doing anything wrong am I?

Say oops and play it off like you didn't know and that someone else gave them to you then walk out of the store. Not a big deal. I don't think attempting to use them is illegal. If anything it'd be the printing them up and distributing that would be.

@Matty that's my idea. But what if the cashier scans it, it doesn't go through, and he puts it in manually? And then his boss finds out and says "SANDEEP! I MUST CALL THE AUTHORITIES AND HAVE THEM APPREHEND THIS CHARLATAN!"? And then the cops find me and send me to prison?

Maybe it's just on Long Island, but when I worked at the grocery store I NEVER saw a coupon for free cigarettes. I'm pretty sure customer service would instantly deny it/it'd come up fake on the scanner.
