For the longest time, I had a great time playing this game. Sniping, knifing (or trying to anyhow), running stuff over, blowing stuff up...it was great.

But then, suddenly, I started losing interest. My KDR has never been great, but 9 times out of 10 I would get a kill before dying at the very least after joining a server. For the past few weeks, I seem to have lost my touch, and I just can't shoot anyone. This is not to mention the increasing occurance of "shotgun-to-the-enemy's-face at point blank range doesn't equal a kill but two-pistol-rounds-from-30-feet-away does." Yeah, that pisses me off.

Did BF2 suddenly get alot harder, or am I just way out of practice?

There are lots of cheaters out there......
Anyone who says there are no cheats for this game are very wrong.
Some people have to cheat to compete. I have said it before this game will get to be
as bad as CS soon. DC also had a ton of cheating a** bitchs.
Takes the fun out of the game. Even the new patchs do not get rid of the cheats.

sure, there are some people that you can shoot with a TV-guided missle and yet they still live, but in my optimistic mind, I think that they're a minority of the 'millions' of players world-wide. If you can live through a well-placed shotgun blast and still manage to spin around and kill me with your pistol, either I was dumb enough to get that close with a gaping wound to the stomach, or I just forgot to reload before I started running in like Rambo - I don't automatically assume that they're a cheater. (*although I've encountered a few*)

Also, as the game stays around longer and longer, of course people are going to get better at it - it's just a matter of time.

I'm starting to lose a lil faith, I still like the game tho, just not as much as I used to.
If I have to be honest the badges are a big part of what keeps me going. I whant to nail those fucking badges .
Besides, I hope the expansion will be friggin sweet, that could do wonders

u guys jus need to change ur tactics and win sum stuff im personally addicted to the drum roll so i try to get ass much of that as possible....but i do see were u guys are commen from...jus try a new tactic to the game..if U snipe alot...well go assault, and go hard!!! u know wat i mean
for me i started using tanks...never really did before but now i love getten 70+ points a round!
ill prolly get my vet repair today..(well try)

dam Viper i jus realized U have 22 hours play time...and ur bored???

I hear you, it's getting harder to obtain the awards, deaths seem to come from all directions and kills aren't as often as they used to be. It's odd, which doesn't mean I'll lose interest, it just means I'll have to rethink my tactics.... My k/d ratio is pretty grim and likely to get worse, but those badges/ribbons and sweet sweet medals........... I'm addicted

You are not loosing your touch, you are just boored at the game. Doing the same thing all the time. Joining a server and get mad over lag. join another server and be mad over TK smacktards, wait untill the next round only to get owned by some "n00btube n00b". Join another server do a great round kill alot of people maby get medal if you're lucky. Stop playing, go to sleep. Start playing again the next evening, and same story all over again, maby in a different order though.
Doing this night after night Will get you boored. But think of all the great moments. When you finaly killed that damn sniper, when you won a knife fight, when you got a gold medal 3-4 rounds in a row, or when you ownded the server and had a crazy K/D ratio. Yeah it's wonderful memories.
Take a break for a week and do a comeback more powerfull and more skilled than ever. You can do it!

One thing about cheaters, they dont get any accomplishment out of winning with hacks. They, like ViperGTS, will eventually get bored and stop playing. Hopefully sooner than later.

Oh and ViperGTS, you need to start tank whoring or commanding a little more. Nothin like making bodies fly around.

Yeah, same here. I just find that I start to lose interest when I don't have much to look forward to. For example, when I was 2000 pts away from Gunnery Sgt. and another unlock, I couldn't wait and I played as much as I could. Now that I know I have another 10,000 pts to go, and Ive just reached 10,000 after four months or so, Im losing a bit of interest. I know it sounds shallow, but I like to be entertained lol.

Im sure I'll come around again. Find a friend or two that you like playing with and you'll gain interest back. Its much more fun to play with people you actually know.
