Verizon sales person told me, they plan to sell 4G phones next year. There is two more months left in my current contract before I qualify for free phone upgrade. Android Global 2 is my primary choice, though will have to wait to see what the 4G model (EVO?) offers.
Get an Android phone. You won't regret it. Maybe buy a spare battery at the same time, however - the higher end HTC phones aren't known for being nice to their batteries, they eat through em FAST (but then most users also don't practice proper power management).
4g lte by Verizon is already in Tampa. But as of now it is just for laptops. Phones very soon .. however I hear the plans for 4g are crappy atm. I also heard neither network offers true 4g. .. but Verizon is better because of a much lower latency. ...like 23 ms. This was coming from a Verizon market manager mind you.loubot wrote:

Im hoping new phones come out soon because I bought my phone at costco and they give you 90 days for a free upgrade. Im very happy with my droidx .. but free upgrade dammit :p

So the HTC android phone is a must have. THe one problem I have with my pre is that the bat life is shit. It only last four hours of use.

None of the HTCs will chew through the battery that fast. Don't worry, you can get an HTC and be happy that it will last you an entire day (especially with 2.2, Google seems to have worked some black magic since my HTC Magic now lasts SO MUCH longer).cpt.fass1 wrote:
