I really don't believe you asked that question....

Only Schwarzenegger would stand out in the open, without any cover to fire upon the enemy and he's the only one who would survive it...in the movies.

Common sense dictates tht when you receive incoming fire, you duck for cover. Blame DICE if you wish that they didn't make a proper animation for hiding behind cover. So now the body movement is stupid - I agree - but that's in the game and it's not hacking, exploiting or glitching in any way.

GAAAH!! "Dear EA: I was killed by guy shooting at me and taking cover to not get killed himself, so i want you to remove ability to take cover. Please nerf every map so that there is no obstacles which could be used as cover, just nice plains. I would also like to point out that soldiers in real life dont take cover, so please remove ability to crouch and prone as they are hax!"

And what grenades are made for if not to flush out covered enemies?

I'd call it an exploit. If you are going to be looking at and shooting your enemy then they should be able to see and shoot at you.

Chuck a grenade in his general direction - that'll make him hide for a bit longer even if it doesn't hit him - then run around either side and crouch for a few seconds behind cover. If you were fast enough, then he won't know where you are. If he does, do the grenade thing again. Once youve flanked him or are right behind him, knife him while he looks around like an idiot trying to see you...

So sniper shooting from nowhere is also exploit?
DICE should have made animation for going prone and for standing up, that would also have solved "dolphin diving". You should go from "stand" to "crouch" and finally to "prone" rather than straight from "stand" to "prone".

Come on. Exploits are bad?

Its called knowledge of the game.

Hacks are bad. Exploits aren't. They are just the quirks of the game that people take advantage of to give them an edge. If you don't know it, learn it. Adapt.

It is the fault of the maker anyway for these quirks.

In CNC Zero Hour these quirks were called skill. You need to know how to micromanage and manipulate units. Doing specific shit to make your units go above and beyond. Timing and practice will make you elite.
