I think the official should be GMT as there is such a vast userbase around the globe. But I dont care if its -6 or -8 or whatever. Really it shouldnt matter what it is.
I think the admins should add a fixed clock to the bottom of each page or to the title bar at the top that has the timezone in it, so people can at least work out what time it was in their timezone when people are talking about stuff
example 14:55 GMT or 08:55 GMT-6
