Do you have to stay till the end of the round to earn medals/badges/points etc???

I got a veteran pistol badge and it hasn't shown up. I left the rounf early and i'm wondering if thats the problem.

i dont know, ive wondered the same thing before, but if the points still count for you (which i think they do) then the medals should also. If you just got it today, or yesterday, give it some time, EA is a bit slow on the updates sometimes.

nope, I leave sometimes if I'm tired of playing from getting my badge...maybe the server didn't record your stats yet

punkbuster should catch the reward as it records everything every 20 seconds. So unless you got the reward and left the game before 20 seconds, then u wont get the reward. Correct me if i'm wrong.

It has nothing to do with punkbuster.

The server (not the client) reports all stats at the end of every round. So, as long as the server is still up when the round ends then your awards and stats will most likely be reported.

No, you dont have to stay till the end of the round.

As long as the server doesn't die, you get it.

recently got basic knife and vet pistol but they will not show up, it does not even remember my kills

I AM EXTREMELY PISSED< MY STATS HAVE NOT UPDATED FOR 2 DAYS NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I remember months ago...I tried for my Expert knife badge before going to work. I started the round at the beginning, got it with around 100 tickets to go...and realized I was running late. I was worried if I left, I'd lose that badge. I left anyways, and 2 days later, it showed up. So...I say you keep everything in the game, points and all no matter when u leave. Maybe there is a certain amount of time u have to be in a game...but ...eh.

Ive seen a couple other posts today about servers not updating and not showing internet servers in the list. Maybe thats part of it.

My experience, as long as you get the drum roll and the congratulations award recieved, the award will eventually turn up in your stats. I got my basic knife and 30 seconds later lost my connection got booted to login screen and had to reconnect, but still got my badge.

if you loose your connection before the round ends, you wont get the award. you will get the award if you are banned from a server but not if you are kicked from a server. that explains why i got the expert explosives before the vet. explosives.
if i were u, i would just wait till the round ends just to be safe.
