Went to the range Saturday in Pennsylvania and has some fun. Shot an AK-47, an MP-5 and a Glock 9mm (the inspirations for my selections were Counterstrike and Jared Loughner ). The AK had a lot more kick than I expected it to. The MP-5 was like shooting a BB gun in comparison. Boom vs Zing. They were both a lot of fun. The Glock was the first handgun I've fired since I was 8 years old and my groupings were surprisingly very good. I punched a nice ragged hole in the center of the bullseye (slightly south of dead center) and it had next to no kick to it. I wouldn't mind purchasing one in the future.
Oh, and we did some trap shooting for applejack shots which I raped my buddies on. 14 of 15 with the sun going down (doubles). Not too shabby

To be honest, I think the whole system would be better if they made a more thorough PAL application screening and followups. It's because of the rare psycho that all this bullshit occurs.krazed wrote:

ak's are good for mowing the lawn, clearing shrubs. ..lol. My buddy used to disperse groundhogs with them on his ranch. Knuckle busters they are. Glocks are by far my favorite handgun to shoot. It's just very comfortable to me.JohnG@lt wrote:

FFL transfer. Make buyer pay $15-30. You can ups a gun overnight to a registered FFL dealer (like a pawn shop guy). Buyer shows up, does background check at pawn shop, waits (or if CWP get gun), then can pick up the gun.Kmar wrote:

Yeah, I'm really thankful there are FFLs out there that do flat-fee $20 transfers. One in town here does up to 5 firearms on one transfer fee!
