Does anyone think it would be worthy to have 1 tech thread dedicated to small little question someone needs to know? I know i have alot of random question that i think are fully worthy of a thread that will only receive 1-2 reply's and be done. I don't like clogging the forums for little things. Here's my first question....

I am buying a motherboard for a new build. The memory standard is Memory Standard is...

"DDR3 2133 (OC)/2000 (OC)/1800 (OC)/1600 (OC)/1333/1066"

What does (OC) mean in this case? Over clocked?

afaik those speeds are only available for the mobo if you overclock to it...
Unless you want to mess with Overclocking, stick to the ram speeds without the OC tag

I'm tired & partially dumb according to this forum so I may be wrong..

Bingo. You can only run those RAM speeds if you overclock.
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
