oh no, i certainly heard about it... and i think it's ridiculous that it's a "scandal". kid fucking slammed on the accelerator, hit a cop and then kept driving. wasn't on my campus though, it was the westchester campus (which has had I think 3 student deaths this year, two due to medical issues).

well, that sucks... I got Sunshine on Blu-Ray from Netflix and just my luck - there's a problem where the PiP commentary won't shut off. Makes the movie totally unwatchable. Thought it was just a problem with me, but apparently it's a widespread problem. GG Netflix for not replacing it with the replacement disks Fox sent out.

Ah well. At least I didn't buy it and I can just sent it back.
