i know it's just a phase, just a feeling of "oh shit, i'm getting older" but it's a feeling nonetheless.

I can relate. I've stopped paying attention to politics in my country and as a result am a happier person for it.
I don't think I've ever given two shits about politics...or religion for that matter.
it's why i hardly venture into d&st, even when you have a valid point, other members run it by their built-in 'partisanmeter/talking points agenda' and if it doesn't = the bullshit they've swallowed, they stubbornly cling to it . . .
