Had to get part of my lower intestine cut out 2 years ago, lost 30 pounds in 7 days, took me months to recover. A very long time before I had energy for any real activity. Finally got back up to weight a few months ago.
Prolly written about my L4-L5 spinal problems, but the recent sick was pretty nasty due to booze. Had very bad cramps. Hands and mouth went numb for a few minutes. Was a wee scary. Never again so much booze. Not healthy in any way. Funny how everything has to be learned the hard way.

Had shingles last year. Fun times.
Face planted, my Upper front teeth went through the bottom of my lips. Basically had a hole under my lips with blood coming out.
Got an infection in my thumb, they had to cut bits of the infected skin i guess from the thumb.
Also got an infection in my ear, the doc basically put a needle in side my ear and took out the puss or what ever.

I've never been awfully sick. I did have pretty bad food poisoning once. It felt like my colon was trying to make balloon animals with itself.

i overdosed on LSD. that's not what made me sick, though. it was running through a plate glass window, and stepping on a rusty nail that laid me up for a bit . . .

I had food poisoning whilst on tour on the other side of the country with my band (in Perth). Still had to play a gig that night and then catch a 4 hour flight the next day with an hour stop over at Sydney airport and another 1 hour flight back to Brisbane. I came right about 3 days later. Wasn't fun I can assure you, though the pain and throwing up only lasted 12 hours or so, the runs lasted for days.
