K I have 2 ideas for reducing stat padding via reviving and stopping medic whores from reviving people in front of an enemy tank repeatedly.
1)
Have the +2 team points given only after the revived person has lived for 5 seconds. If someone's in a combat zone and they've just been revived, 95% of the time they'll be dead in under 5 seconds. If they die before this, the medic gets no points and realizes reviving people in a combat zone is a bad idea. This would also make revive padding less attractive because it would slow down the process a lot. A medic and his friend, both with good timing, might get 11 revives a minute at most. The average "team" might get 7-9 revives a minute. This could be hindered further...
2)
Add a 30 second timer that prevents any more points from being gained from reviving the same person in that time frame. If you revive someone, they live for 6 seconds, die, and you revive them again, you will NOT get any more points. It's like with healing and resupplying. Now imagine this timer working against stat padders. They medic will get 4 points a minute only.
Good idea, or not?
