So I reformatted/reinstalled windows etc. Now I have of course, Battlefield 2, but I also have Special Forces, and I had the European Union add-on. So after I install the BF2 CD, and I have all the patches downloaded, when do I install Special Forces (between which patches?). Also, how would I go about getting back European Union add-on?

I got it working! Here is how you should go about it if anyone else gets in my position:
After installing BF2, install Special Forces,
then:
1.12 patch
On EA Downloader, get 1.12 to 1.2 incremental patch
On EA Downloader, get European Booster pack
On EA Downloader, get 1.2 to 1.21 incremental patch
On EA Downloader, get 1.21 to 1.22 incremental patch
After that it worked. You basically shouldn't skip patches, just getting all patches in order by using the incremental patches, is the best way to go.

Do NOT install SF over a 1.2 or later BF2, because EA is retarded and makes SF patch BF2 DOWN to 1.12, which takes about 50 years. Then you have to install 1.22 which also takes 50 years.
