SORRY guys, it's another "which gun" post

G36E owns everything. If its between the F2000 and the G3, I'd go with the G3 because I prefer its iron sights over the F2000's scope. Oh yea and I hate noob tubes!

The G36E is more of a n00b t00b than the GL (these days) as it's so easy to use it's a joke. Just unlock that and join the other 99% of the BF2 universe and become a medic.

The G3 requires some sort of skill, if you are the person that wants instant gratification. Just unlock the G36E, it's a super gun with all the point abilities of a medic + self healing. What more could you ask for?

G3 requires you to learn the gun a bit more. Get good with it and its one of the single most lethal guns out there pound for pound IMO. Once you get good with the G3 I found the F2000 to be a VERY easy gun to own with... I guess the way the gun "feels" when you shoot it is very similiar in my opinion.

Medic and self healing is great, but you don't have body armor. Some like that some dont. I like the L85A1, and pick it over the G36E in game, even though the G36E is more accurate usually. The 3 round burst gets on my nerves when you got guys moving side to side at close quaters.

Personaly since you have 2 i'd take the g3 and g36e.

G3 i have picked the gun up and i was like WTF? This gun sucks never fired a shot, and then igt into a fire fight and i owned them except the last guy he knifed me lol i suck, Um yea the medic gun is a good gun to but it all is down to what you really want to play...IDK but did you unlock the sniper unlock if you didn't no lie then do so. G3 G3 G3 G3 G3 then maybe if you want g36e

No it is not, however the g36 series of weapons had some influnce from the G3 when it comes to components and design.

It seems that most people are falling into the G3/G36e catagory so thanks everybody. I can only play in the evenings and some weekends so ranking up takes me a little while. That's why I want the best chance of avoiding duff guns!

Tushers - I have both sniper unlocks as that's the class i use most, but sometimes i just want to get 'stuck in' you know? Assualt / Medic seem the logical choice to improve further, seeing as i have the PKM which is 'better' than the 2nd Support unlock, or so I hear.

G3. G36E. These two gun are the best of their class - and two of the best in the game ('36E is my favourite).

Although if you really can't choose get the unlock test mod and try them first-hand.

G3 is the old Bundeswehr rifle (German army standard) and the G36 is the new one. The G36E is the export version of the standard rifle (The Spanish army use it) and differs only in having a 1.5x sight as opposed to the 3x sight featured on the G36.

The G36E is by far the better gun, it's accurate and powerful. It suffers slightly at close range as it's not auto, but generally its great. The G3 is ok, quite powerful, but not that accurate and it has too small a clip.
