Yup, FUBAR. I went to school with one of them so i was invited the second i started playing Bf2. I've only recently started using the tag though cuz i was pretty dire at the game at first!! If only i could get VOIP working reliably!

yes im in a clan more fun playing bf2 and we have clan temaspeak.
I have a clan tag (=FDX=) but FDX is my old clan from Raven Shield and we aren't active in BF2, we still all keep in touch and occasionally have a game of BF2 (those that own the game). I now wish that i'd anticipated the addition of the prefix feature in 1.03 because i'm pretty sure the tag at the front of my name will stop me from getting in most clans. I am looking for one however
I can see this leading to a recruiting thread
Yes, I'm in BUL
>>>BF3 Central<<<
Im not in a clan but play regularly with my boss and customers from work. It is more fun when you actually know the people you are playing with
Nope it aint, I was just boredimdead wrote:

I am in the best clan ever, the clan with no tag infront of their name.
there arent many {BMF} players out there....as i believe i may have been the first to wear the tag in this game. But i carried over from another game, Vietcong where i was in the clan (still am). I dont play that game very often, as it is about 3 or 4 years old now, i mainly leave the newer clan members to play it. Not that i dont like playing with them or the game.....but id rather play bf2.....vietcong is no challenge for me anymore
and {BMF} was never that serious of a clan, yeah we wear the tags, but we dont have scheduled practices and all that dumb shit. Only time we had a "scheduled" practice of sorts, is when we had a match coming up, but most of our guys were pretty good at Vietcong

You can call it a "Clan" if you want, but what I find myself a part of is a "Gaming Community" not just battlefield 2 but thats were it all started.
Playing with the same people every day and knowing there strengths and weaknesses greatly improves your gaming experiance, If it wasn't for these guys I met on the 2nd week of owning the game I don't know where I would be now, or if I would still be interested in this game anymore.
Friendless is not the way to go

Yeah, thats what we mainly are is a gaming community. we play CSS, DoD, HL, StarCraft (don't laugh), BF2 series, BF42 series, GW, and WOW. But mainly BF2 right now, our CSS is picking up. We also have 2 soon to be 3 dedicated servers. We have fun. More of a community than anything, we just hang out with the same people and talk about anything on TS.
We have a Clan part also for the competitive personel. Being stuck with serious Clans gets annoying, you have to be there at a certain time for practices, you start at the bottom even though your pixel is alot better, You have to 'tryout'..eff that...the game is meant to be fun not tiresome and not fun. But even though our Clan division gets a workout, but we have lifes other than BF2!!

No clans. Never more. Takes too much time and effort. I just want to play a game and have fun.
no time to be in a clan.

yeah im a leader of clan, and i cant see why many people really dont like to be in them, i could understand if you joined one and they where all fucktards but not all clans are full of idiots, my clan started as a group of friends who put clan tags infront of there names, then we made a website, then we orderd a server, then we joined a ladder, then we started recruiting.
It just came around of a few friends screwing around now we play for serious and are looking into getting sponsered eventually

no, cause I got kicked out of my old clan because I wasn't active enough (yeah right)
Yea uhmmm, no clan for me, no time basically, i play when i can not when my clan members are on.
I got two boyz and i usually got people over and i got a business to run as well!
I have teamspeak but I have more fun just pubbin, my bro will join me on his PC at home.
I tried to use Voip once and the noise was more stress than anything esle!

Not in a clan, I can't guarantee time on the game.
I play too much, but not at set times. Suppose it would be fun, if I could get into a clan, that played for fun, and teamwork.

I would absolutely LOVE to be a clan but my stupid stupid stupid name makes most people think I'm in a clan called 'LSD' and my name is 'Wash' so nobody has ever asked. My name is LSD_Wash (Acid Wash) and for some stupid reason (probably being a programmer and database guy) I got in the habit of putting underscores between words. I suppose I could go out there and hunt for a clan, but I wouldn't know where to begin. I use to be in a clan for Q3 and that community was very well-organized. But I don't see the same cohesiveness in the BF2 community. So I guess for now, I am in a 1-person clan called LSD (which I have never taken, btw) and I guess my name will be 'Wash'. :~( Perhaps it's time for a name change, but I sure to hate the idea of starting over with my stats.
Your's truly,
Acid Wash

I'm a clannie. J4F or Just 4 Fun.
No requirements, no tryouts, no mandatory ANYTHING. Dues, practice, nothing.
It's a bunch of guys who get on TS, joke around and play just to play.
We range from great players (not me) to poor players (probably me).
At least you don't have to worry about getting TK'd for a vehicle or being ganged up on and used as cannon fodder.
That in a nutshell is why I joined. But there were plenty of other servers and even a few competitive clan servers that weren't bad ones to do a drop in game on.
If it were any more relaxed we'd be just a few strangers who for some random reason keep coming back to the same server.
WE work in teams but it's not mandatory. The only think they're hard and fast on is no swearing on the Vent or on the server.

It's nice to have friends run n' gun with ya. Especially if you know the tactics of the situations, and plan accordingly.
In {CN} Children of the Night. Joined in the Tribes 1 days. We don't play in leagues, but a couple of us get on and play every now and then. Fun times.
