black hawk rocket pods

sry if this has been asked before, i did search.
i keep seeing pictures of the blackhawk with rocket pods (theres a picture on one of the bf2 disks) and im just wondering...were these originally going to be in the game and taken out.? otherwise, where does the picture come from? ive wondered this for a while. does anybody here know?

this has been covered a bit, but i cant remember if it was origionaly in the game or if they are pics from bf2 on the ps2.

i noticed this 2, also on the back on th bf2 case they hav a blackhawk with roket pods nd an f18 on dalian plant...neither of these are in the game...

Wonder if the Little Bird will have pilot-operated miniguns, such as illustrated in some of the AF screenies?

I thought it was the SeaHawk, not sure tho, the one with the pods is also on the heli badges, maybe on maps with water

i dont think they're from the ps2 game. ive got that too, and the graphics aren't nearly as good. thks for the feedback anyway

He meant flying a donkey, all i'm saying is : it aint the 'normal' BH on the heli badges, how its called whats on it, i dunno

Ummm, yeah they will. If you look closely under the Spec Ops guy on the Little Bird you will see some miniguns, and behind him is the belt with the ammo.

Ummm, yeah they will. If you look closely under the Spec Ops guy on the Little Bird you will see some miniguns, and behind him is the belt with the ammo.

Possible scenario.. 1 pilot, 2 spec ops on board.. Take the bird for a spin to the enemy mainbase.. the C4-whores destroy some assets, while the helo-whore gives hell by covering them with the miniguns.. If the chopper is as agile as it looks, it's going to be a helluva toy!

There is a version of the Blackhawk with missile pods and a nose mounted chain gun in a mod called Allied Intent. If you download it, you will blatently see why this vehicle was NOT put into the game, considering it can shoot down an enemy plane in half a second, or any other vehicle for that matter. It is a monstrosity upon all that is fair in a game.

ahh the LittleBird, I used kick ass with it in Desert Combat, its infantry ownership is counterbalanced by its inability to engage armour and its vulnerability to small arms fire. I would LOVE to see it in BF2

Seriously, it would be better to crash into the vodnik. At least that way you get a kill too

They had one in BF42 Desert Combat that was pretty cool, They should not have Rocket pods unless ony the Passenger can use them. People would take off in it alone otherwise. They do that enough as it is.

ive kinda wished the rocket pods were on the blackhawk, it would be helpful when your flying into a flag area and there is a target in front of you as well as on the sides for the gunners. but, i stay away from flying that thing if possible anyway, if you ever ride with me and im a pilot......dont expect a glorious hover over the flag and cap it...expect to land and ground pound the flag lol
