it smoothens the scroll in Google Chrome. It feels really good.
It doesn't smooth the scroll when you click the middle mouse wheel though... it didn't for me at least... ..Sup wrote:

Operas smooth scroll feels much nicer. When I scroll on Google Chrome it doesn't update so you can't read it whilst scrolling. Can on Opera.
Might have to check this out.
Had a few issues with Chrome over the couple years I've been using it but it's still my favourite browser.

also try the FastestChrome addon. With it not only you speed up Chrome it also changes the way you load new pages. for example a guru 3D review where you had to click a number or the arrow to go forward well here you just scroll down (or up) so you keep scrolling down until you have read the whole review.Jaekus wrote:

Any way of having a separate download pop-up that goes away after download complete, like in IE?

Your thoughts, insights, and musings on this matter intrigue me
Yeah that's a little annoying. Sometimes I just want to "open" a file, not save it.
I installed the add-on but it appears to not do much... am I missing something here?.Sup wrote:

So I had a hunt around and found some new add ons, some are a little gimmicky but some are really cool.
One I particularly like is Chromey Calculator. Intuitive calculator for lots of different things, eg. I typed in "20 euros in AUD" and it came up with "27.1381348 Australian dollars". Or "distance from brisbane to sydney" is "731.5 km (kilometers)". Yeah, could google it, but it's handy to have it sitting right there in your browser so you don't have to open a new tab.
Another cool one is Awesome Screenshot: Capture & Annotate. Check the video here:
