TACTIC: The Armor-C4 reversal trick

I'm currently in training with the Spec Ops class (soon to be a God amongst those players).

I thought of tactic which I have never seen before (It's probably been done, but I personally have not seen any mention of this).

What you do is this:

Spawn as Spec Ops
Look for empty armor
Attach 2 C4 bombs to the armor and switch to the detonator
Enter the armor
Start playing
When you see a Spec Ops guy approach your armor (and you know that you won't be able to escape his C4), 1 of 2 things can happen:
- He will either be holding down the Enter Vehicle button
- Or he'll just go straight for the detonation

This trick applies to the first thing that can happen, you leave your armor and the spec ops enemy will pop in (He will think that he's professional because of the holding down Enter Vehicle button blah blah). This is where YOU detonate thereby reversing the C4 that would have taken you!

This also applies when your armor is low on health. Exit the armor, usually the enemy will come and steal it, now you detonate.

If your plan is to grab a Tank, then it is recommended, for the best results, to choose Engineer.
Your idea is good, and it does bug me when I want to avoid death from C4, and they just steal the Tank.

I don't think you can consider yourself a God regardless of what you do though.

Word. Do not waste your tank and be an engineer, so you can squad up with your team's APCs and provide pwnage.

Oldest trick in the book and still one of my favs. if ur a good tank operator u don't let spec ops get close to u though.

The best thing to do if a spec op DOES manage to plant c4 on u, is follow him. this only works if he plants it on the front or back but just hit the gas and stay close to him, usually he won't want to kill himself plus it's funny. half the time he's too excited and right clicking to detonator/c4 like a crackwhore to blow u up anyway.

Yeah be an engineer if you're going armor, don't be a putz. And with a good spec ops, you would be dead before you saw them

Lol you let spec ops blow you up with C4. Just get out run round the tank fill him with holes before he blows it up (about 10 seconds normally) get back in tank and own them.

Why not just have a sniper "loan" you a couple clays, one on the front, one on the back. That should keep the maggots away from your tank god.

But then theres the question, does the armor work together, if all the armor is going on its own then u have to repair ur self and risk the danger that when ur repairing some fool will jump in your tank, kill you and then that team has 2 tanks..mmm..

A good thing to do is when you have damaged armor that you don't want the enemy to take, plant a C4 or mine on it. If he hops in you will get an easy kill.

That's miss usage of good C4 When I use C4, I want to have results and a "may be I might need it so I put on my tank just in case I let someone get to close" does not ensure that

Put your C4 on a Jeep and do some Kamikaze riding... sure results Don't flame me Any special force have done it at least once .

Or just do it intentionally, meaning get somewhere with your tank, leave it to be taken by the other side and then blow it, but why would you do that when you can get more kill being in the tank

If he detonates it while you have C4 on the vehicle there is a chance you may kill him from your c4 blowing up. Seen it happen once while I was in an apc like that.

I prefer the engineer approach though, put a AT mine under the armor when you are repairing or toss it on top of the actual armor and see how long you can balance it on the vehicle.

Being engineer in armer is not a must most of the time you dont have time to repar your apc or tank. if armer is working together then it is a good idera to go engineer or resuply because you dont have unlimeted rokets or shells i have been all clases in a apc or tank because you dont always think you will get armer when you do.

Is this supposed to be clever? In my experience being an engineer and 'working with your team' (I don't know if you've tried that one Nyte) is much more effective than killing one lone spec ops. Besides which, in most games AT rockets are much more of a threat than c4.

Even if you do decide that tricking the enemy into being blown up is a good use of your time and resources, you still lose your tank.

So, you jump and, by luck, get the kill;
you will lose tank anyway ?, so a noob will grab your precious tank at spawn while u are getting dirt on your boots ??
Best to be at tank is engineer, so you can fix other vehicles while sitting inside your tank, well, if your teammates are engineers too that would be good, if not, heres another armor-c4 tactic:

- Spawn as SF.
- Grab armor (tk any noob that wants to steal it, its yours !!)
- set 2 or 3 C4 charges behind the turret, NOT behind, front or beside armor, nobody shots you behind the turret, is always at tracks, front or back of armor.
- transform into an armor whore.
- three fight scenaries:
--> you are fighting against other armor, you win, then ask for supplies or for an engineer.
-->you are fighting against other armor, you are going to lose, crash your armor to the enemy armor, yeah, you will blow, but your explosion will take him TOO. You can spawn back and take YOUR tank again.
--> A SF soldier just set c4 on you, stay near him, he will suicide, everybody does it, but instead of him getting a suicide, he will get killed by the explosion of your c4. You can spawn back and take YOUR tank again.

I have done this against jihad c4 whores and it works.

I just got a -1 with the reason: Coming from someone with 800+ hours. That is 800 hours of fun, you missed the point. I don't want to train for a class, I want to have fun with a class. I would say: I was just playin spec ops, a class which I'm lately discovering, and I came up with some funny strategy. Instead of: I'm currently training for spec ops. To become a God amongst those players.

Also I find it strange that the guy who gave me -1, doesn't react in the thread itself. Be a man and address it here too. Thank you, so much. (I feel some -1 coming up.)

Related to this topic, you come around a corner as infantry (non spec-ops) and there is an enemy tank so you know you are dead. Run straight at the tank and pretend to be a spec ops guys. Most won't fall for it unless you go the extra mile by standing next to the tank bouncing nades against the side of it. For some reason that "clink" "clink" is just enough to fake a guy into doubting himself. The last 2 times I have done this the guy jumped out, I jumped in, AND in the last one that I did this with, the guy was blown up on my nade. LoL.

Doing this is a misuse of armor. Being and engineer and being able to repair your own or in most cases other armor in your convoy is far more beneficial and extends your life on the battlefield resulting in far more kills and is much more beneficial to the team overall.

But, if you are going to go with the spec ops, definately plop a couple on you front bumper and if you are about to die in a tank or APC battle ram your opponent so he dies when you blow.
