I went on one once as I was curious. As you can tell by my 25 pistol and 23 knife I didn't stay long.
i'm not playing on them, but i still see many of them in my serverbrowser.
Hope EA one day will wipe them all out at once!

I found myself on one without trying the other week - the weird think was they were running it as a pistol, kinfe and sniper server on Karkand - it made easy pickings for the minority of people with rifles.
It was a bit boring to be honest, I stayed for a round, took my points and left - as much as I'd like those badges I'm patient enough to earn them properly, fun comes first, stats come second.

Sometimes I use my second account to go on one of these servers.
The only problem is: i don't want to be knifed, so i use a tank as protection
It's a lot of fun to see all these stat padders crying until i get kicked

knife and pistol servers are great fun, I think ea shouldnt stop them its just fun
I love doing that! Then if they cry about it tell em there server is breaking EA's ROE and threaten to turn em in Got my ass kicked out anyways but it was blast blowing them all away

I just sorted by servername last night and saw about 30 of these servers out there now. Most of them were full. How can EA/Dice not notice or do anything about these for so long now? Are they just waiting to wipe 5,000 people's stats?
Sober enough to know what I'm doing, drunk enough to really enjoy doing it
i went on 1 pulled out RPK-74 and mowed them all down was real fun but i dont play on them severs i got my knife and pistol badges on regular karkand severs
EA would only stop them if they are ranked servers. If they are unranked, EA couldn't give two shits about what goes on with a server.metal1215 wrote:

I have played only once on a knife & pistol server! Didn't want my stats to be reseted. I got much of my pistol kills while playing sniper. After a bodyshot with the riffle I quickly finish my victim off with one or two pistolshots....that's it!
Most of my pistol kills are kit specific as well. Got my pistol badge playing as AT. Was doing a dance with this guy and I ran out of ammo in the DAO, so I switched to the pistol and finished him off. Did that several times that round and ended up with the basic pistol.Sub-Zero79 wrote:

I know of a few people who go into servers like that just to blast the players away with GL and C4 and vehicles. Funny stuff.

There are lots of ranked karkand servers and they usually are full of blatant padders. I love pistol matches but not enough to lose my hard earned points.
Now I just go in to cause trouble, get some roadkills and get booted. It's fun!!!
I'm all for UNRANKED pistol servers, or a special set of ranks for pistol matches; like 100 kills IAR to get vetern, etc.
