Hey, Ive found some of the weapons possibly used, (Standard base weapons?)

To fix this in Battlefield 2142, DICE is introducing incentives to play in squads. Basically, squads will be able to collect points faster for special 'field upgrades.'"

I was planning on avoiding this game but since reading about titan mode I'm begining to change my mind it sounds fantastic, like a better version of iron gator. when i first started playing sf (bought bf2 and sf at the same time) and saw objectives about capturing submarines and stopping missles launching i though excellent, didnt realise that translated as simply caping flags.
That has actually completely changed my opinion on BF2142, at first I thought ahh here comes the mech whore/raping and this will probobly take place, however the bit that I'm liking the sound of is this
Now to me that sounds like infantry will actually be pretty powerful to me. The progressive unlocks that are offered are quite nice, but it will mean that people who don't buy the game on launch day will be at quite a bit of a disadvantage, as there will be dozens of people running out with super G36E's with silencers, hollow point bullets, scopes and auto lock features. Ok so maybe I'm exagerating a little, but I think you can see my point, people still start playing BF2 becasue the guns they start with are actually pretty good and you don't NEED the unlocks, with this it will seem that you do.Important EA Person wrote:

it will attract quake players and such as for me I do not like DISCO lasers and plasma guns a little bit too far into future for me

But I agree with what everyone has said, that story made the game look a lot better. It will be awesome to customize your weapons with scopes and stuff.

Thankfully the good mods will be out by the time this crap hits shelves. Titan mode at 32 players max? Customizable kits that mean the more you play the better equipment you get? Automated drones in multiplayer? No thanks, especially after DICE already ruined BF2 with their patches.

Look, I like the video very much. I like what I see. I almost want to buy the game. But EA has ripped me off so many times, it makes me wonder if it's worth my money.
-Patches : New features we don't like, no bug fixes
-Add-ons : charging 10 euros/pounds/dollars for 3 new maps, 7 new weapons and 4 new vehicles. THIS SHOULD BE FREE
-Another boosterpack ...money

Someone said, EA promised us fully destructable eniroments. I only see a few barrels flying in the air.
What are all those taunts in the .ini files and stuff that we can't use?
