Managed to kill my phone last night, so I've had to order a new one. Blackberry Bold 9700, should be here by Tuesday.

Agree... I prefer keys to touch aswellghettoperson wrote:

Truth, I got my curve 8520 last may, a before I knew it, half of the people I know have them. I was at a 21st function last night, at the table I was at, there were 5 curves....Toilet Sex wrote:

That's just because Scottish people can't afford iPhones. I thought about getting an iPhone 4, but I just don't get along with touchscreens.Camm wrote:

there's an equivalent app (well, loads actually) for iphone called whatsapp... but yeah, i agree, a native-IM client is pretty good to haveWinston_Churchill wrote:

the majority of people here have them, makes BBM so convenient and useful. there really is no better phone IM out there
it works cross-platform. i have it for bb and use it to talk to friends on the iphone and android. its nowhere near the quality that bbm is though.Uzique wrote:

I bought Supreme Commander 2 and the DLC pack on the Steam sale yesterday.
Also, I soon need a new phone too, because my two-year old LG KS20 WinMo phone is crashing or locking up every few days now.
It also killed my SD card with a few photos on it.
I want something Android.
that and the hardware keyboard are the only things I miss about my BlackBerry. I also miss the robust email system but ah well. Worth it for an EVO.Winston_Churchill wrote:

There is something special about the BB's keyboard that make it so easy and fast to use.Kampframmer wrote:
BB's are most popular among 14-year-old girls that want to "communicate" with each other at a party (standing 3m apart from each other) whilst trying to look interesting with their new phones.
Good news though: I'm starting to see more and more people that aren't young teenage girls with bb's.
ontopic: Bought Half life 2: Episode one, planning on getting ep2 once I'm done with this one
e: I don't hate bb's, just saying that because other other phones have apps like Whatsapp now so BB is starting to lose some ground, but it doesn't make em useless.
Yeah I used my friends Nokia with a keyboard, and it fucking sucked. There's practically no options for phones with keyboards.aerodynamic wrote:

I don't know why, but i can type faster than my old e72 and e71.
BB has the largest marketshare here in under 25s, possibly higher too (and not just 12 year old girls Kamp). Since everyone has them, BBM is an incredibly powerful tool for networking and keeping in touch. Whatsapp and all those competitors are simply nowhere near the same level BBM is.Spidery_Yoda wrote:
I do wonder to myself why people would ever choose a Blackberry over an Android or iPhone but I suppose if you know people with them and want to use that messenger thing it has then you'd have a reason to.
Oh really? Where are you? I never see anybody with them except one of my flatmates.Winston_Churchill wrote:
