EA isn't showing it yet and it's making me scared. I just got it about 10 minutes ago, but the round still ended and I want it in my award thing! One of the many rounds I had 17 with 70+ tickets left and then I couldn't get another one!!! So I started trying again and actually got it! People would shoot at me with their gun and I'd still get them, because I own with a knife. ;D

But no one was using them...I kept getting shot by tanks, blown by C4, sniped, anti-tanked, etc...

Just even playing on a knife and pistol server can get your stats wiped.If I were you I would just be happy if you get to keep your stats, never mind the badge.
why do you care about where he got it?
In my experience, those pistol and knife servers are PRIMARILY pistol, which means you had to go through hails of bullets to get each and every kill...I suspect it's MUCH easier to earn it on a regular server if you're any good...
Oh, and most of those servers follow the ROE these days, which means that they recommend knife/pistol, but don't enforce, so you OFTEN see folks using tanks, snipes, etc to stat pad in a different, equally disturbing manner.
I'm all for insulting and berating, but most of the folks I know who moan about this don't know the situation...heck, I followed a clan-mate to one of those servers and killed a tank at Suburbs about 5 times using the TOW...I was kicked by vote...then the tank owned everyone else...lol

If it's so hard to get it there and it only took him a few rounds, then he should be able to go to a normal server and get it again pretty quickly, right?

Fair enough...I can't imagine a time when I'd crow about an in-game accomplishment...even my two golden badges were something I was internally proud of, and I shared my enthusiasm with some online friends, but I would assume that ANY crowing about skillz in the Forums will result in berating and insults...YoBabysDaddy wrote:

Witness Nyte...about half of this community vomit with EVERY complaint and self-aggrandizing post from him...the other half are amazed at his prowess...
Mainly I wanted to isolate the ignorant comments...there is now a sub-class of players who go to these servers with the express intent of stat-padding kills because it's so easy to do when you have a real weapon and everyone else has pistols and knives. Also, going to a pistol-only server REALLY teaches you aim AND pistol skills, so there are some legitimate reasons to go there, not simply to stat pad...

1) Whether I care or not, it is against the rules
2) It is very easy to knife a guy who has a pistol (1 shot kill vs 6 shot kill)
