If you dont want people to use tactics to there advantage go play battlefield 1812, so you can all just line up like the british and shoot at eachother.. this game is guerilla warfare or unorthodox battles. If they can kill you you can kill them.. you might not be good enough to but there are alot of us that are. If there behind a wall and you dont have the skill to shoot them throw a fucking gernade. If you dont know there there thats your fault.. i have never been shot at by an invisible person. if they are "prone spamming" you will be able to see them if not for half a second.. but you can see them.. I dont know guys im just sick of all the damn crying / complaining when its other peoples skill thats the real problem.

this is true, you dont want to get called a turn spammer or run spammer... and can only shot 1 bullet at a time but if you kill someone your a bullet spammer.. if it was more realistic you wouldnt wanna play it. i could count with both hands (8 or 9 different occasions maybe) how many times I fired rounds in anger while i was over there. I have a pretty rotton computer system that lags frequently. If I come up against someone with some multiple CPU, water cooled computer, he will beat the snot out of me ... is he cheating? No. The game allows it.
Oh, and by the way, you cannot see the person who is using this tactic / exploit. Take a look at Nyte's video.

Do you feel that there is a certain amount of 'jumping' that is acceptable? I know it is a viable tactic to the game, but some people take it to the extreme. Just wanted people's 2cents it...
Jumping is not prohibited, unmap the space bar key.
Shooting bullets is not prohibited, do not click your left mouse button.
Going prone is especially not prohibited, redesign the character models to not allow bends at the joints.
There are just too many BF2 admins that cater towards the lowest common demonitator, and allow for baby-ing of players based on what they consider to be "fair" gameplay.

I administer a server and would never kick/ban for that, but then again, when I die like that, I actively seek out the person and hunt them down...and I generally get 'em before they can kill me again.
Now, I've never played against Nyte, and I have no doubt that he'd pwn me, but most other exploiters simply die after their first encounter with me, assuming they don't die IN the first instance.
I'm not a great player, but I'm motivated and prefer a challenge anyway.

Hell yes it would be. You know, no matter how hard I try, I cannot jump 5 feet in the air and 6 feet foreward at the same time, or go instantly from laying down to standing up with no 'animation' in between.
